Hey,

I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone around here - I go by Sharper online, and I'll be playing Parker, from Leverage, in this game. I'm taking her from a month or so before the television show started, which makes her a bit anti-social and socially inept, but I'm hoping that it'll make things interesting!

I'm looking forward to getting a go with this character, and playing with a couple characters from show's I'm not really familiar with.

Anyway, just wanted to post and say hi :)

Yeah, I know what you mean-- although there's also a lot to be said for knowing a best-loved show/movie/book really well from countless rewatches. ;)

I totally haven't watched the first episode of Leverage 20 times... *shifty eyes*

And this show is so up my alley; I have no idea how I've gone this long without seeing it, lol.

It's such a good show! It's kinda underground though, I find. Especially here in Canada, where it didn't even air - and Netflix doesn't have it anymore, so there's almost no way of watching it. I may have bough the first season more than once cause I lent it out...

And, of course, there's the characteristic dip in quality in the later seasons, but hopefully you make it to the finale - that was golden!

I'm in the U.S. and remember occasionally seeing the ads for it and was interested, but since I don't really watch anything on TNT, I never got around to tuning in. A friend of mine actually has the whole series on DVD, but has a no-lending policy (which I understand, but darn it :P). So-- Netflix has the discs here, at least!

And good to know the finale's worth it! That's not always true. :P

I didn't know anything about it until my friend watched it on Netflix and tipped it off to me. I'm just missing the third season, and waiting eagerly for the fifth :) But yay for the disks! At least there's some way of getting it!

If the whole fifth season had been like the finale, it'd definitely still be going. But I could talk about it for ages :P

At least with good shows, they're better than most other shows even when they're not at the top of their game, right? And, at least it went out on a high. :)

I had to pause it for a bit, but I'm at the end of ep 1 and just got a good laugh about Sophie telling Parker there was something wrong with her since she didn't understand women and shoes-- I've always been like that (not understanding it) until really recently, actually. It was like a switch flipped... not that I've got the budget to indulge it, but still, I like to look. XD

This is true :) It was an excellent note to end on, most definitely.

I don't understand women and shoes! Still waiting for my switch to flip, but I manage well enough with four pairs that I more or less cycle through to cover any and all activities! I don't think I'll ever learn to walk in high heels.

Wish I could say the same of my shows. I know everyone involved put their whole hearts into it and that shows, buuuut... a high note, they definitely were not. :P Ah well.

I'm definitely not becoming a stereotype; I just bought my first pair of new sneakers in eight years, because my old ones finally got a hole in them, lol. Otherwise, I've got one pair of sandals and two pairs of dress shoes (admittedly both heels; I figure if I'm going dressy, I'm going all out, lol). So, not exactly setting the world on fire with my shoe collection.

My DVD collection, on the other hand... XD XD

I have some sparkling black TOMS that have been de-TOMified that I wore to my brother's wedding, but that's about as fancy as I'll get. I can't even remember the last time I wore high heels. I'm a crocs/jeans or converse/jeans kinda girl. But sparkly TOM's go with everything, so it works!

Priorities man! You gotta respect them! That, I do get.

Too true. At least they had endings-- a couple of shows that just got cancelled will float forever in the "what would've happened?!" ether. (Crusoe, Sinbad... such a shame.)

Sparkly TOMs sound cute! And I getcha-- I'm usually in sneakers or sandals, depending on the temperature.

Priorities are important. ;)

Ah, but that's what good fanfic is for!

And they were awesome - so easy to dance and be in. Best of both worlds!

I like socks too much for sandals :P Though I'm thinking of investing in a pair this summer!
